NFL Week 13

After an exciting day of College Football yesterday, we go back to the Pros today. There are a lot of good games today which include the Atlanta Falcons at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Pittsburgh Steelers at the Baltimore Ravens and even tomorrow with the New York Jets traveling to New England to face off against the rival Patriots. But the game I'm doing is the Washington Redskins at the New York Giants which is at 1:00 P.M. start on  FOX . This is a big game in the NFC East because the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Houston Texans Thursday so they have one more win than the Giants. If the Giants want to keep up in the division they have to beat the Redskins today.

 Washington Redskins:
Redskins QB Donovan McNabb
Like a lot of teams in the NFL this year they ave been having an up and down season. They started off 3-2, but since then they are 2-4. They are led by off season acquisition Donovan McNabb at Quarterback. He got benched in the 37-25 loss to the Detroit Lions for reportedly being out of shape and not being able to run the 2 Minute Offense better than backup Rex Grossman, but before their next game against the Eagles, he signed a five-year contact worth with forty million guaranteed. If they Redskins cut McNabb after the season, the Redskins will only owe him
$ 3.75M
Offensive Leaders:
Passing: Donovan McNabb- 2,853 Passing Yards, 11 TD'S,13 INT'S, 76.0 Rating, 57.8Completion %
Rushing: Ryan Torain- 391 Rushing Yards, 3 TD'S 4.3 Yards per Carry, Two Fumbles(One lost)
Receiving: Santana Moss- 778 Receiving Yards, 3 TD'S, 12.5 Yards per Catch
 New York Giants:
Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw
The New York Giants have exceeded my expectations this year by going 7-4 and have one of the best defense's led by All-Pro D-Linemen with Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora. Perry Fewell who was the interim coach in Buffalo last year, came to the Giants and made them one of the best defense's again. On Offense it has been the emergence of WR Hakeem Nicks who has been one of the best Wide Receivers before needing to sit out with a leg injury. Ahmad Bradshaw has been a nice surprise by rushing for 916 Rushing Yards this year. There season started bad by going to a 1-2 start, then they won 5 in a row and now there 1-2 in the last three games.

Offensive Leaders:
Passing: Eli Manning- 2821 Passing Yards, 23 TD'S, 16 INT'S, 90.3 Rating, 65.2 Completion %
Rushing:Ahmad Bradshaw- 916 Rushing Yards, 5 TD'S, 4.7 Yards per Carry, Six Fumbles( Five Lost)
Receiving: Hakeem Nicks- 800 Receiving Yards, 9 TD'S, 12.9 Yards per Catch

Keys To The Game:

Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall
Redskins- They have to protect Donovan McNabb from the Giants Defense. If they give him enough time, he can make decisions that I think will exploit the Giants not so good Secondary. They have to get the ball to Chris Cooley and he has to be a game changer. DeAngelo Hall has to be making plays like he did against the Bears when he had 4 Interceptions. He has had one in three games, but in order for their defense to play good he has to come up big and have at least one pick. Brian Orakpo needs to create problems for the Giants by running around and pressuring Eli Manning to make bad throws, If Orakpo and the rest of the defense step up they have a chance to win.

Giants WR Mario Manningham

Giants- Your suppose to win this game. They have to play like they did last week by playing turnover free football this game can be ugly. They lead the league in turnovers, so they have to play turnover free. Their D-Line has to create pressure and force turnovers. they difference is how Bradshaw plays. He has Six Fumbles and he is on a short leash with Coach Tom Coughlin. They don't have their whole receiving core so Mario Manningham and Derek Hagan have to make big plays like Nicks and Steve Smith make when their healthy. I think the Giants will win this one going away. The Giants in my mind are a much better team then the Redskins.
Prediction:
Ocho Cinco: Giants 31-16
The Foz: Giants 34-10
