NFL Week 12

Its week 12 of the 2010-2011 NFL season, and we've already had more than an interesting week.  The Saints-Cowboys game was an absolute thriller, and we now have the two teams with the best record in the NFL in the same division(Jets and Patriots). Then a new Spygate scandal came out, saying that during practices before their game in London on October 30th, the Denver Broncos and head coach Josh McDaniels videotaped the San Francisco 49ers illegally. McDaniels and the team were both fined $100,000 but this brings up some questions, such as "how long have they been doing this" or "how many other teams are doing this".

Ok, so today we're gonna do 2 big previews of major games, a 1 o'clock game and a 4 o'clock game. The first game featured will be the Green Bay Packers at the Atlanta Falcons.

PACKERS AT FALCONS- 1:00 ET
The Packers, led by Pro Bowl QB Aaron Rodgers, come in with a very respectable 7-3 record, coming off a 31-3 blowout of Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings, and a 45-7 rout of the Dallas Cowboys 2 weeks ago. They rank 10th in total offense and rank 12th in total defense.

Team Leaders:
Passing: QB Aaron Rodgers- 2601 passing yards, 19 TD, 9 INT, 64.1 completion %, 95.7 QB rating
Rushing: RB Brandon Jackson- 488 rushing yards, 3 TD, 2 20+ yard runs, 4.0 yards per carry
Receiving: WR Greg Jennings- 46 receptions, 703 receiving yards, 9 TD, 15.3 yards per catch
Defensive Stars: OLB Clay Matthews Jr.- 36 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 forced fumble
CB Charles Woodson- 60 tackles, 2 INT, 4 forced fumbles, 1 sack
S Nick Collins- 50 tackles, 8 passes defended, 1 INT, 1 fumble recovered, 1 TD

The Falcons, led by on-the-rise QB Matt "Matty Ice" Ryan, come into today's game with the best record in the NFC at 8-2. They have come off 4 staright wins, including 2 against the 7-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers and 7-3 Baltimore Ravens. They rank 6th in total offense and 18th in total defense.

Team Leaders:
Passing: QB Matt Ryan- 2518 passing yards, 18 TD, 5 INT, 92.9 QB rating, 63.1 completion %
Rushing: RB Michael Turner- 864 rushing yards, 6 TD, 4.3 yards per carry, no fumbles, 7 20+ yard runs
Receiving: WR Roddy White- 79 receptions, 1017 receiving yards, 7 TD, 12.9 yards per catch
Defensive Stars: ILB Curtis Lofton- 81 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 INT
DE John Abraham- 21 tackles, 8 sacks, 3 passes defended, 3 tackles for loss
CB Dunta Robinson- 32 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 3 passes defended

Key To Game:
Falcons- Stop Clay Matthews. Matthews has been on a tear this season, recording 11.5 sacks, and has been the Packers entire pass rush. If the Falcons experienced offensive line can handle Matthews, they can slow down the enitre Packers defense and open up the passing game.

Packers- Keep Roddy White in check. When playing the Falcons, you must be smart. You can't send too many blitz packages on Matt Ryan, or else you will leave Roddy White open, and he leads the NFL in receptions. They also have future HOF TE Tony Gonzalez to throw the ball to, as well as star running back Michael Turner.

Verdict:
The Foz: Falcons
Ocho Cinco: Falcons

Eagles At Bears-4:15 E.T
Eagles QB Michael Vick
The Eagles go into Chicago with a 7-3 record and leading the NFC East. The Eagles come off of a win against their rivals, the New York Giants 27-17. Their season has been on the shoulders on NFL MVP contender Michael Vick who doesn't have any turnovers this season. Their defense has forced 26 turnovers, 1st in the NFL. They will be playing without top corner Asante Samuel.

Team Leaders:
Passing: Michael Vick- 1608 passing yards, 11TDS, 0 INTS , 62.8 Completion %, 108.7 QB Rating
Rushing: LeSean McCoy- 726 rushing yards, 6 TDS, 5.0 Average, 2 fumbles.
Receiving: Jeremy Maclin- 47 catches, 705 yards, 7 TDS, 12.0 avg
Defensive Stats:
DE Trent Cole- 44 tackles,7 Sacks, one forced fumble.
LB Stewart Bradley- 48 Tackles one INT one Sack
SS Quintin Mikell- 57 Tackles one INT, one forced fumble.

Bears DE Julius Peppers
The Bears, led by their stingy defense, have a 7-3 record tied for first in the NFC North. Their defense has all-pro defensive end Julius Peppers and MLB Brian Urlacher. Their defense has given up 78 rushing yards per game second in the NFL. Their Offense is led by the resurgence of Matt Forte and QB Jay Cutler.

Team Leaders:
Passing: Jay Cutler- 2064 passing yards, 12 TDS, 10 INTS, 61.3 Completion %, 84.2 QB Rating
Rushing: Matt Forte 567 rushing yards, 4 TDS, 3.8 Average, 3 fumbles.
Receiving: Johnny Knox: 37 Catches, 672 yards, one TD, 18.2 avg
Defensive Stats:
DE Julius Peppers- 30 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles.
LB Brian Urlacher- 67 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble.
CB Charles Tillman- 55 tackles, 3 INTS, 3 forced fumbles

Key to the Game:
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson

Eagles: You have to stop Julius Peppers and Brian Urlacher from getting to Vick. If you give Vick enough time, he will dissect the defense and make the big plays he has been all year. I think Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson will have good games. Vick also has to get the running game going. LeSean McCoy has to help Vick by getting the ground game going. If they do they will win the game.

Bears ILB Brian Urlacher
Bears: Their offense has to do something. Jay Cutler needs to get the ball to Johnny Knox, Devin Hester, and Chester Taylor. If their offense gets some nice drives going along and keep Vick on the sideline, they have a chance to win a Soldier Field. Also, there defense has to create turnovers and make Vick make mistakes.

Verdict:
Ocho Cinco: Eagles
The Foz: Eagles
