T'was a great day for the New York Rangers, as they broke in a new season by pulverizing Ryan Miller and the Buffalo Sabres 6-3. Miller, the savior for the U.S. Olympic hockey team last year, gave up 5 goals, and was on the bench for an empty netter. The Rangers' scoring attack was led by rookie Derek Stepan, 2nd round pick from Wisconsin 2008. Stepan, playing in his first regular season game, showed great passion and intelligence, for he was in the right places throughout the whole game. Stepan had impressed many throughout the preseason and shined playing on a line with Sean Avery and Ruslan Fedotenko. Brandon Dubinsky also scored 2 goals, including an empty netter, and Erik Christensen scored a goal as well...

Torts needs to wake up and play Sean Avery ,get him off the 4th line and give him more minutes. And someone needs to shake Sean Avery the fans need him to go back to the Avery of old. I'm sure that Sean Avery missies himself.
